We recognize the unique physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs of each person receiving home hospice care. We strive to extend the highest level of courtesy and service to patients, their families, caregivers, and visitors.
Who Is Eligible for Our Services?
Hospice services are available to patients and their families who have an advanced illness with a limited life-expectancy. Hospice provides you with palliative care, which is treatment to help relieve disease-related symptoms, such as pain. You and your family decide together when hospice care should begin. Financial coverage is available through the Hospice Medicare Benefit and many private insurance companies. No person shall be denied services based on age, race, national origin, disease, handicap, religion, gender, color, or sexual orientation.
Services Provided
Billet Hospice offers a team of medical professionals to assist in providing comprehensive patient care. We provide needed medical equipment, medications, and medical supplies related to the life-limiting illness. In addition, we offer grief counseling, bereavement services, and a variety of therapy programs.

Levels of Service
Routine Care
Most patients will receive this level of care, most of the time while on service. Hospice staff will provide regular, scheduled visits to a patient’s place of residence to adequately manage symptoms and meet the needs of the patient and family. Room and board are not covered by hospice at this level of care.
Continuous
Provided in the patient’s home or place of residence during crisis, and most often initiated when death is imminent and the primary caregiver is unable to cope. Home hospice staff will provide 24-hour care at this level.
In-Patient
Intended to provide short-term relief for the family or primary caregiver by transitioning the patient to a long-term care facility for a period of up to five days. Room and board are covered when care is provided by a Medicare and Billet Hospice approved facility.
