WACOG - Area Agency on Aging
Area Agency on Aging
WACOG Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serves older adults age 60 and older and family caregivers, with some services available to adults with disabilities. Through our provider network, Area Agency on Aging programs and services help these populations live with dignity, independence, and choices in their homes and communities for as long as possible.
Service Process
Accessing WACOG AAA services begins with contacting the Aging and Disability Resource Center. For most services, an intake is conducted by phone. For services including home-delivered meals, in-home care, and respite, service availability may vary in each county due to funding, and a care coordinator provides an in-home assessment and regular follow up for the duration of the service need.
Eligibility
Area Agency on Aging services are available to eligible older adults age 60 and older, family caregivers, and eligible adults with disabilities. There are no income thresholds for services. All services are provided free of charge, but donations are welcome and greatly appreciated.
